Bilingual Customer Service Representative

The Customer Care Professional enhances the customer experience by identifying customers' needs and opportunities, then satisfying those needs while exceeding the customer's expectations.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
. Have the passion to connect and build rapport with a variety of customers and their changing needs
. Ability to customize services for customers based on their individual needs and promote appropriate products and services as necessary Accurately complete transactions with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail
. Follow through on all calls to ensure customer closure and satisfaction
. Manage difficult or emotional customer situations effectively
. Respond promptly to customer needs

Competencies:
. Customer service oriented skills and ability
. Flexibility and enthusiasm for troubleshooting problems and providing effective solutions
. Listen and resolve problems in a timely manner and use reason, even when dealing with emotional situations
. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and establish clarity to resolve issues and increase customer satisfaction with Rogers Communications
. Experience using Windows and Internet web browsing computer applications
. Excellent listening, and problem solving skills
. Availability to work a variety of different hours during the week is desirable

Additional Requirements :
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience
• Call centre experience an asset
• Experience with Warranty administration
• Professional attitude
• Team player mentality
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes)
• Superior communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Fluently bilingual (French/English)
• Flexible to work various shifts - 8:30am to 5pm/12:30pm to 9pm/Saturdays
Compensation:
$40-$42k
Health & dental benefit, plus company paid RRSP plan.
